This privacy policy governs your use of the software application Discovery Land Parents (also listed as “DL Parents”) for mobile devices. The app is provided as a free service and is intended for use as-is.
We do not collect, store, or share any personal information. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, and no way for you to enter personal information. We do not collect usage statistics, and we have no ability to identify you or any individual user.
The app is not fully offline. It makes a single type of network request: it downloads the current week’s Discovery Land lesson content from our content server, which is hosted on Supabase. This request is anonymous — it sends no account, no device identifier, and no personal information, and it only reads content. It never sends anything about you to us.
As with any internet request, our hosting provider automatically processes your device’s IP address in order to deliver the response, and may retain it briefly in standard server logs. We do not use these logs to identify or track users.
Once downloaded, lesson content is cached on your device so the app keeps working without a connection.
Worship song listings include links that open in the Spotify app or in your web browser. These are ordinary public links. The app does not embed Spotify, does not use the Spotify SDK, and does not stream audio itself. Once you follow a link, you are on Spotify’s service and Spotify’s own privacy policy applies to what happens there. We receive no information about what you play.
The app is designed for parents and families. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and in fact we do not collect personal information from anyone, so there is nothing for us to disclose, sell, or misuse. The app contains no advertising, no social features, and no user-generated content.
This application does not request, collect, or monitor any information about the geographical location of your mobile device.
We do not use analytics software, advertising, or tracking SDKs of any kind. The only third parties involved are Supabase, which hosts the lesson content the app downloads, and Spotify, which handles song links you choose to open. Neither receives personal information about you from us.
All network requests use HTTPS. Because we hold no accounts and store no personal information on our servers, there is no personal data of yours for us to lose.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Any updates are effective immediately upon posting to this URL.
